"Champions At Work"
TYRONE, GA - The Sandy Creek High School Chapter of SkillsUSA continue their winning streak
recently at the Champions Rally. More than 1,600 students from 70 chapters around the state
of Georgia attended the rally held at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. Events included chapter
competitions and a special speaker who encouraged the students to make good choices and work
to achieve their life goals.
The Sandy Creek chapter won 1st Place in the Chapter T-Shirt Design competition for a second
year in a row, 5th Place in Chapter Recruitment Display, 8th Place in Chapter Recruitment Poster
Design and 6th Place in Overall Chapter Rankings.
In addition to contest winners, Addie Davis, the current SCHS Chapter President and SkillsUSA
Georgia State Treasurer continued to help lead the student organization as she took part in
presiding over the days events.
