Academic Team

Mission: To display and strenthen academic knowledge through the venue of competition. Activities: academic competitions against other schools.

Aerospace

Mission: to promote aerospace science in the fields of aviation and rocketry.

Activities: Build and fly rockets.

Art

Mission: To promote the appreciation of art by participating in small, school based projects to make art available to all students. Activities: create works of art.

Automotive

Mission: Preparing students to succeed in a complex market. Activities: work on and maintain automobiles.

Beta

Mission: to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious acheivement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after highschool. Activities: Community service projects.

Broadcasting

Mission: To promote student participatoin in department of use of Broadcasting equipment and processes. Activities: create broadcast for school use.

Chess Club

Mission: Providing an outlet for students to develop life long benefits by participating in intriguing chess games for many levels of players, beginning to advanced. Activities: Chess games after school.

Ecology

Mission: to increase enviromental awareness, appreciation, and responsibilty towards nature by encouraging participation in ecology related activities and projects. Activities: Horticulture projects around the school and the community and the study of the enviroment.

Mission: To promote Fellowship and Leadership among students and atheletes. Activities: Hold Monthly meetings about fellowship and leadership.

French Club

Mission: LeCercle francais is an organization of students interestes in promoting awareness of French language and culture by enciuraging participation in a wide variety of activities including art,trave,l and eating customs. Activities: Monthly meetings and trips to cultural events.

German Club

Mission: German Club's overall purpose is to provide eductaitonal enrichment opportunities for present and former students of German. Above all, it seeks to provide these opportunites in contexts outside the classroom.

Activities: Its activities range from giant projects, such as hosting Sandy Creeks German Exchange to modest undertakes like fellowshi parties.They also include monthly meetings and trips to cultural events.

Kitty Hawk Air Society

Mission: A national organization set up to promote academic acheivement as a leadership society associated with the Air Force Junior ROTC progam.

Key Club

Mission: The key club is an international student-led organization which provides its members the opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

Mission:To provide and arena for and to promote student interest in art, poetry, short fiction, and photography by producing a quality publication of student work.

Mission: to promote the beauty and mystery of mathematics as well as to strive to solve challenging math problems not found in a regular classroom.

Model UN

Mission: To expand knowledge of a myraid of current world issues, understand different nations' perspectives of global challenges, expand writing, extemporaneous speaking, and collaborative problem solving skills, expand knowledge/evaluate effectiveness of the United Nations in the 21st Century

National Honor Society

Mission: The leave the world a better place than we found it by giving young men and women the opportunity to donate their time and talent to a variety of organization through individual service plans.

Mission:To promote the sport of table tennis in order to develop athletic skill, social skill, and promote friendly competition.

Mission: A partnership of students, teachers, business and industry representative who work together to prepare students for the world of art.

Mission: The Fishing Club strives to promote enjoyment of nature through the leisure activity of fishing, as well as encouraging the development of friendships and social skills outside of academic settings.

Mission: Dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school.

Mission: To develop and on-going, one-to-one relationship with a child in need. A mentor encourages, listens, gives advice, tutors, acts as a role model, and shares information and experience.

Activities: Meet with the students on a weekly basis and engage in approved activities with the student.

Patriot Ambassadors

Mission: We will represent Sandy Creek High School in the best possible light for our new students, our visitors, and our peers. We will stand up for the principles of our shcool in a positive mannar and we will commit our group to promoting a healthy, drug-free, violence-free environment in which it learn. Our motto: "Zero Tolerance for Solo Lunch!"

Activities: Escort new students at Sandy Creek to classes, lunch, etc.

Peer Mediators

Mission:To broaden students' Japanese vocabulary and cultural/political/economic knowledge of the nation and expand the understanding of Japanese-American relations.

Teens For Christ Bible Club

Mission: Fellowship of high school students participating in a series of devotional and instructional Bible lessons with the goal of heightening their understanding, appreciation, and love of the Bible.

Student Book Club
Sponsor: Jane Stilwell

Mission: To provide an environment to learn about, share, and disciss books interesting to adolescent readers. To promote literacy, the love of reading, and to provide an opportunity to disciss a book with others who share these same passions.

Activities: Read books chosen by the group. Discuss these books and share ideas.
