Note: Students may opt. for another study session(i.e. 4th or 6th) with an accompanying
note from teacher.
- Students who exempt the first exam must check in by 10:30
- Students who exempt second exam and have submitted a check-out form before
school to the attendance office may check out at 10:45
- Students may also check out after the second exam at 12:55 after submitting
a check-out form before school to the attendance office
ATTENDANCE EXEMPTION CRITERIA
As a reward for excellent attendance, a student may choose to exempt any one final exam provided all of the following criteria are fulfilled:
- The student must never have been tardy to the class in which he wishes to exempt.
- The student must not have been absent from school or checked in late or signed out early a combined total of more than five times during the semester for any reason (unexcused or excused); tardies to 1st period count as unexcused check-ins). This will be verified by the attendance clerk.
- The student must have an average of 71% or better at the end of the semester for the course in which he wishes to exempt.
ACADEMIC EXEMPTION CRITERIA
As a reward for academic excellence, a student may choose to exempt any two final exams provided he has a 95% or better average in the class(es) to be exempted.
NOTE - A student may exempt under one exemption category only. He/She MAY NOT exempt one exam for attendance and one exam for Academic Excellence.
